The Lynn Matsuoka Studio is located in Honolulu Hawaii. The artist returns to Tokyo during the sumo bashos to work on her Kabuki and Sumo images, and to appear on the live NHK worldwide TV broadcast coverage for the Grand Sumo Tournaments. Artwork is available there as well.

Over the last five decades, Lynn Matsuoka has been accorded the highest privilege granted any artist - Japanese or foreign - by being allowed to record the private background events of the world of sumo as well as the leading stars of the Kabuki stage.

Commissions include painting of the baseball great Ichiro (now with the Seattle Mariners,) Hula paintings and portraits, reportage coverage of the recent historical Naval Court of Enquiry, carried live around the world on major TV networks, as well as custom designed artwork for corporate Christmas and New Year's cards and corporate calendars.

Matsuoka’s SUMO artwork is in collections around the world, including the Morikami Museum in Florida and the Sumo Museum in Tokyo.
